This 2 storey, 2 bedroom private cottage is within walking distance to Southampton’s many amenities; the library, banking facilities, shops and restaurants, Tennis courts and The Rail Trail. There are 4 local golf courses within a short driving distance. Other features include fine and casual dining, fresh baked goods from the local bakery, art galleries and art classes at the local art school, the Bruce County Museum or just relaxing at the beach. For the photographer, Southampton is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. This is the ideal summer vacation spot.

We invite you to stay at our fully furnished 2 storey cottage. Our quaint cottage is in a prime location, with lake views and just steps from the beach. You will find this immaculate home-away-from-home to include:

  • a well appointed sun room with TV, DVD, wicker furniture, overlooking a lovely stone patio, complete with patio furniture and barbecue
  • a cozy living room (with pull out couch), gas fireplace, fine furnishings and carpets,
  • a well equipped kitchen,
  • a lovely dining room overlooking the back yard and patio,
  • a fully equipped laundry room,
  • 1 large master bedroom with Queen bed, dressers, night tables and lamps
  • 1 second bedroom with two single beds, dresser, night table and lamps
  • 2 - 4 piece bathrooms (one on the ground floor, one on the second floor)
  • Wireless Internet,
  • Assortment of books and games

Please bring your own linens (bed sheets, pillows and towels. Kitchen linens (dish cloths and tea towels) are provided.

Rental Conditions:

  • Two week minimum preferred.
  • We rent from Saturday to Saturday.
  • A $300 deposit is required for each week to hold your position. Balance is due 21 days (three weeks) prior to the first rental date of your stay. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
  • Check-in:  3:00 p.m. Saturday
  • Check Out:11:00 a.m Saturday
  • Rates are subject to change without notice.

  • We reserve the right to limit the number of occupants.
  • We do not allow pets or smoking. The renter will be responsible for all costs incurred should this condition be breached.
  • We expect you to leave the cottage in the same condition that you received it in.
  • In the event of significant or deliberate damage the renter will incur the cost of repairs.

Please report any potential problem prior to checking out so it can be corrected before our next guests arrive.
